FEBRUARY 2006

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! It's been a wet January but the weather has turned around for February! It's sunny (not so warm) but the paintball season has arrived! The insane arctic winds have also arrived...which means repairs! So i've got lots to do and tons to say...here we go:

First of all, I would like to welcome our new Bushball Referee to the crew! Welcome Nic Berndt from Turbulence! If you stop by the field, be sure to welcome him! On other staff notes, Will has just left for the Phillipines for a school Humanitarian Project. He will be gone for over a week and i'm sure he'll be back with some amazing stories. Good luck Will! Our old crew is still around for another season of fun!

As for Speedball, we have been getting TONS of calls and emails about when we are opening. As of right now, we are planning on having our Annual Grand Opening of our Speedball Field on Saturday March 25th and Sunday March 26th. However, we will confirm those dates the first week of March. We are currently putting up new mesh and getting the field back in playing order. The weather is totally cooperating so it shouldn't take much longer now! Stay tuned to our main page for exact details soon! We'll see you all on the fields soon!

Ambush is also looking for FEMALES!! We want the ladies to come out and try both Bushball and Speedball. We are going to be having Ladies Only Days throughout the season to introduce some gals into the mix. So if you know of any girlfriends, sisters, moms, aunts, cousins, aquaintances, whoever...TELL THEM! Help us spread the word and get a big group out! It would be AWESOME to see some all girls teams this season. I know there is a ladies only team in the works right now...if you are interested email me for details.

Speaking of teams, and getting started, the first event of the year is the MARCH OF THE ROOKIES at Panther on March 5th. SIgn up now if you're a rookie!! The first BCPPL Event has also been announced and registration is now open. The first event will be at PANTHER PAINTBALL on Saturday AND Sunday March 18th and 19th. ALL BCPPL events will be held over 2 days this season. All other events and dates have been announced at www.bcppl.com. Sign up now to reserve your team's spot today!

Ambush is also planning some fun days for Spring Break. We are going to be having a STARGATE day for the Bushball field on March 25th. Discounted Bushball prices and Stargate like games. We are also planning to be open for extra drop in days so check out our main page for details.
