February 2010
It’s been a while since our last newletter, so I’ll try and pack all the info I can into this one….
Ambush teams have come back from candaian nationals with some very solid placings. AA placed second in d1, AA corruption placed first in d3, and the 666 saints placed 2nd in d3. Calgary was cold and dreary but our guys from surrey(and Washington) showed em how its done.

Woodsball
We are only 1 month into the New Year and there are already some great improvements at Ambush Paintball’s bushball field.
1. We now do 4500 psi air fills. Yep that’s right, bushball has its own High pressure air setup. Good-bye Scuba bottles! With two compressors at Ambush, both speedball and bushball should have quality fills every time you go to play.
2. We have teamed up with another great local field “Maple Ridge Paintball” in order to bring you a rip-roaring tournament 3 man woodsball tournament series. There will be a beginner and open class so all players are welcome to play, no matter what their skill level. The first event is at Maple Ridge Paintball on Sunday march 7th.
3. We are planning a full blown “sprucing-up” of all 3 of our fields. We want to give them that tlc that they deserve. Also we have to put the camper somewhere out there….
On another note, K2 respected woodsballer and Paintball gear Employee has been bringing out his “crew” for bushball games on Saturday s. Its always a good time when those guys come out!
Speedball
For many years, speedball has been pushed under the rug at Ambush. That all changes this year, with a few new improvements at Ambush.
1. More staging area. Paintball sucks when you don’t have any shelter for you or your gear. We are just finishing construction of a new permanent 30x20 foot staging area. As well as we will be setting up our traditional “tents and tables”.
2. There will also be staging shelter near field two, as well as in the dead box of field 1.
3. We will be announcing a “membership” card for speedball players. This is a 1 time fee card, so you wont have to pay your drop in fee every time you come.
4. We will be offering “private” practices to the public. Wouldn’t your team(or two teams) like a chance to have an entire field to yourselves for an afternoon, to work on drills and such…. This is a unique opportunity!

Until next month!
